Sono già 26 giorni che sono qui… Novembre è finito e ci incamminiamo a Natale… Ma mi mandate a casa? La mia insofferenza cresce e questo isolamento sembra eterno! Stamattina dopo la solita routine e la visita hanno rifatto le lastre per vedere come stanno i polmoni visto che la tosse è rimasta e la febbriciattola torna ogni tanto. Per fortuna il versamento pleurico si è ridotto! Un barlume di speranza c’è che le cose inizino ad aggiustarsi. L’emocromo non è risultato brillante e hanno deciso di rifare una trasfusione di piastrine. E intanto la mia epidermide continua a sgretolarsi… Ma non posso farmi vedere in questo stato!!! Sono schifosa… e per di più con tutto questo puzzo di mandorle sempre addosso! La mucosite continua a tormentarmi… passerà mai? Inizio ad avere voglia di mangiare qualcosa di solido: una bella pizza, una fetta di pane e Nutella, le lasagne della mamma, le polpette, il saor e tutto ciò che potrebbe stuzzicare un palato un po’ orfano… Il doc mi ha detto che se tutto prosegue così fra qualche giorno inizieranno a introdurre gli alimenti magari più liquidi e soffici e a sostituire la terapia endovenosa con quella orale. Quando tutto ciò inizierà saremo sempre più vicini alle dimissioni! Intanto cerco di passare il tempo guardando i cartoni animati alla tv (non è che essendo rinata e avendo solo 15 giorni sia tornata davvero all’infanzia?), ascoltando musica e guardando qualche dvd… a metà perchè inesorabilmente la spossatezza infinita mi fa fare delle grasse dormite!
